About us

M-Squad is an AI-first mobile studio in Munich. Since 2001 we have helped operators, brands and start-ups conceive, build, launch and grow mobile products. Today we work with product and engineering teams to shape, prototype and deliver mobile apps, AI agents, Agent Gateways and digital product systems with AI-assisted engineering.

We work best alongside internal teams, from early product concept and architecture to implementation support and launch readiness.

In 2023, Daniel Melter co-founded GenAI Wednesday Munich and has co-organized its events ever since, Munich's community for founders, builders, investors and curious minds exploring generative AI in practice. The meet-ups bring 80–120 practitioners together every month or two for talks and face-to-face networking, favoring real, battle-tested case studies over hype and genuine “real people, real room” connection across industries. It keeps M-Squad close to where AI is actually being built and shipped.

Additionally, Daniel Melter of M-Squad was co-founder and chairman (2006–2013) of MobileMonday Germany, bringing German and international mobile practitioners together to discuss topical mobile subjects.

Our heritage

M-Squad GmbH was founded in July 2001, with much conceptual work dating from late 2000 onwards.

Previously, members of M-Squad were instrumental in developing the mobile internet consulting business at Detecon International (at the time: Diebold Deutschland), a leading German management and technology consulting company.
